Pan Grilled Prawns In Banana Leaf

This Pan Grilled Prawns in Banana Leaf is one of my favorite street-foods, which you can find at many hawker stalls in Malaysia. I like the sweet taste of the prawns with the spicy sambal, and the lovely aroma from the banana leaf. It is best eaten hot with some steamed rice. Well, if prawn is not your cup of tea, then the fish version may appeal to you, which you can find the recipe over here .

Chicken Chow Mein

This Chicken Chow Mein (stir-fry) is a real crowd-pleaser, for a spicier kick, serve it with some Sriracha sauce.

Fried Beef And Cheese Dumplings

These are tasty fried dumplings with beef and cheese. They are perfect little snacks, and great served with mustard or ketchup.

Stir-Fried Beef And Broccoli

Beef and Broccoli stir-fry is not a dish, that I grew up with. In fact, I first discovered it when I was living in New York, well, it's a long time ago. This is an incredibly easy American Chinese stir-fry and full of flavor. As for stir-frying, always have all your ingredients ready and cooking should be a cinch.

How To Make Kaya/Coconut Jam

This is an updated post with a new video cooking guide. The recipe is the same as my previous one , except the sugar; instead of white sugar, I have opted for Turbidano raw sugar. This sugar has a natural light golden-brown color, and it is less processed and refined. The cooking time is shorter for this recipe too. Please check out the video for more information on how to make this delightful spread.
