This is a hearty soup, made with chicken broth, crab meat, egg, ginger and homemade rice cakes. It's a simple and yet satisfying meal.
Crab & Ginger Soup With Rice Cakes
Ingredients
120 grams Rice Cake Sticks
1/3 Cup Crab Meat
1 Tbsp Shaoxing Wine
1/2 inch Ginger, thinly sliced
2 Cups Chicken Stock
1 Large Egg
2 Scallions, chopped
Sea Salt
White Pepper
Sesame Oil
Peanut Oil
Method
Heat a wok over high heat. When the oil is hot, add ginger and scallions. Stir-fry until fragrant. Mix in chicken stock, Shaoxlng wine, and bring it to a boil. Add crab meat, rice cakes, and cook for a minute. Then add an egg, stir and season with sea salt, pepper and sesame oil.
