Really fabulous ice cream, I love that there are no eggs!

I love no cook ice cream recipes - there is so much egg yolk and cholesterol in the custard ones! That's no good.

Ooh nice! Like LimeCake said, it's a lovely pink! But sadly, I don't have an ice-cream maker.

Only making my internal ice cream machine battle harder! I really want one... then again, I'm worried about actually making ice cream!

I can't wait to try the recipe!! I just made homemade ice cream for the first time two nights ago w.o. a machine. It's pretty easy, it just requires a lot of handling. I think the consistency might be better with a machine. I'll have to buy one if I keep finding good recipes like this one =)

Strawberry ice cream is one of God's gifts (even for a non-believer like me).

Thanks for posting. And Angie, thanks for the machine free technique link.

I love that this is no-cook! Tempering eggs and making custard usually turns me off of homemade ice cream. This looks wonderful!

no egg ice-cream! I love the idea

You could also make it vegan by using soy creamer instead. Silk Soy Creamer is a good one, and you can change it up by using one of the flavored ones

This makes me want the ice cream attachment for my kitchen-aid even more, *starts shaking the gifts under the tree to see if it might be there*
